The Reform Imperative: Building a Prosperous and Inclusive Nigeria by 2030
As Nigeria navigates an increasingly complex economic and geopolitical environment, the 31st Nigerian Economic Summit (NES #31) provides a timely platform for critical reflection, coordinated dialogue, and urgent collective action.

SETTING THE STAGE FOR NES #31
Since its inception in 1993, the Nigerian Economic Summit (NES) has evolved into Nigeria’s preeminent platform for institutionalised public-private dialogue on economic management and development policy. A joint initiative of the Federal Government and the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), it has played a central role in shaping national reform agendas, strengthening policy coherence, and catalysing private sector engagement in nationbuilding.
The 31st Nigerian Economic Summit (NES #31), themed “The Reform Imperative: Building a Prosperous and Inclusive Nigeria by 2030,” comes at a pivotal moment in Nigeria's development journey. With bold reforms already underway, NES #31 will convene a diverse gathering of global leaders, senior government officials, CEOs, economists, development partners, scholars, and change-makers to build consensus on the next phase of Nigeria's transformation and shape actionable policies and practical solutions for Nigeria's socioeconomic development. The Summit will adopt a pragmatic, futurefacing lens to shape a cohesive national agenda that balances macroeconomic stability with inclusive growth.
